# How to create a Stamp card with LoyaltyDigital.Cards

# Read the documentation.

## Intro

1. Once you have successfully logged in, proceed to the menu located on the left-hand side.
2. Click on the **Cards** icon from the list of modules. You will gain access to the **Cards** module by taking this action.
3. You have the option to create a card either by selecting from a diverse collection of preloaded templates or by designing one yourself. We will examine how to create cards **From scratch** in order to gain a deeper understanding.
4. Just click the **From scratch&#x20;**&#x62;utton.

## Card Type

1. This triggers the creation workflow for the loyalty card. To create a card, simply fill in the details across five sections: **Card Type**, **Settings**, **Design**, **Information**, and **Save and Preview**. Now, let's examine how each section functions.
2. This is the **Card Type** section. Here, you can choose the type of card you would like to create and give a Name to your card. Let's give a **Name** to the card first.
3. Select the **Stamp&#x20;**&#x63;ard type from the list of available options.
4. After making your selection, simply click on the **Continue** button. Consequently, you will be directed to the **Settings** section.

## Settings

### Language

Select the language you prefer for creating the stamp card from the **Language** dropdown menu.

### Card Expiration Date

1. Choose the expiration date for the stamp card by selecting one of the radio buttons under the heading **Card Expiration Date**.
2. Here we have 3 options: **Unlimited**, **Fixed term**, **Fixed term after card issuing**.
3. Let's select **Fixed term after card issuing** from here. As this option is selected, the **Term** dropdowns are displayed. Here, you can select the number of **days**, **months** or **years** upon card activation after which it expires.
4. Once you choose the **Fixed term&#x20;**&#x6F;ption, a Term dropdown menu will appear. You can then select the expiration date of the card.
5. If you choose the **Unlimited** option, the card will be available indefinitely.
6. Similarly, select the Stamp validity using the radio buttons under **Stamp Life** heading. You are able to specify the duration for which a stamp remains valid once it has been earned.

### Locations

Please indicate the specific location(s) where your business is authorized to accept the card from the **Locations** field. You can make multiple selections from here. Follow the [Locations](https://docs.loyaltydigital.cards/location) interactive guide in order to create a **Locations**.

### Card Issuing Form

1. The upcoming section is the **Card Issuing Form**. Here, you can specify the necessary fields that your customers need to complete in order to sign up and begin using your promotion. Click on the **Add field** option to add an extra field if necessary.
2. Use the **Field Type** dropdown to select the type of field you are willing to add. In this specific scenario, we choose **Email** from a drop-down list.
3. Enter the name of the field in the **Field Name** text field that will be visible to the user.
4. If you want to make a field mandatory, enable the **Required** toggle. If you want to make a field mandatory, enable the **Required** toggle. In our case, we will deactivate it. You have the option to enable or disable it at any time.
5. In case you want to make a field unique, enable the **Unique** toggle.
6. Disable it if you need to make field **Required.**
7. In case you want to remove a field, click the **Delete (X)&#x20;**&#x62;utton.

### UTM

1. The UTM section comes next. You have the option to generate a channel link in order to track the analytics of the traffic that is generated through that channel. For instance, if you add Facebook in this field, we will generate a URL automatically associated to a UTM tag.
2. Use the **Source Name** field to capture the name of the channel where the link is being spread.
3. Click the **Add a link with a UTM tag** button. Feel free to include as many links as necessary for your promotion.

### Phone Mask

Here you can select a region for call masking using the **Phone Mask** dropdown.

### Privacy Policy

Enable the toggle button for the **Privacy Policy** heading to include it on the card. In addition, you have the option to modify the privacy policy using the text box located beneath the title.

### Consent to the processing of personal data

In case you want to include consent while processing personal information of the user, enable the toggle button next to **Consent to the processing of personal data** heading.

### Analytics

If you want to include a customized script for analytics, you can include this script in the **Analytics&#x20;**&#x66;ield. It could be either Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, or any other script.

Once the required fields are filled, click the **Continue** button. This takes you to the **Design** section.

## Design

### Stamp Count

1. This section lets you configure the design of the **Stamp** card.
2. Starting off, choose the number of stamps at which the reward can be redeemed from the **Stamp Count** heading.

### Active / Inactive stamp icons

Utilize a Preview tool to identify the elements you wish to define. Click on the **Active stamp** on the preview screen.

1. Select the icon that best represents the appearance of the active stamp from the dropdown menu labeled **Active stamp**.
2. To locate the **Icon** you need, simply start typing in the field. In this scenario, our aim is to find an icon representing a cocktail.
3. Likewise, you can select the **Inactive stamp** dropdown to choose the icon that represents an inactive stamp.
4. To upload an icon from your system storage for an active stamp, simply click the Select File button located under the **Active Stamp** dropdown. The Icon should meet the following requirements: - Size: **min. 200x200 pixels**; - Format: **Only PNG,** max. **3 megabytes.**
5. Find the required icon for uploading from your system storage and adjust the cropping size in the window while the popup appears. Click the **Save** button.
6. Similarly, you can choose an icon from your system to use as the inactive stamp by clicking the Select File button below the **Inactive Stamp** dropdown.

### Logo, Icon, Background under stamps

Utilize a Preview tool to identify the elements you wish to define. Click on the **Logo** on the preview screen.

1. To add a logo to your card and release form, simply click on the **Select file** button under the **Logo** section. This will allow you to choose a logo from your system's storage. The logo should meet the following requirements: - Size: **480x150 pixels**;     - Height min. **150px;&#x20;**- Format: **Only PNG,** max. **3 megabytes.&#x20;**&#x4D;ake any necessary adjustments in the popup window and then click **Save**.
2. Select a background image from your device's storage for the background under the stamps. Click on the **Select file** button under the **Background under stamps** section. The **Background under stamps image&#x20;**&#x73;hould meet the following requirements: - Size: **1125 x 432 pixels**; - Format: **Only PNG,** max. **3 megabytes.&#x20;**&#x4D;ake any necessary adjustments in the popup window and then click **Save**.
3. In the same way, you can select the desired **icon** from your system storage by clicking on the **Select file** button under the **Icon** section. This icon will then be displayed in the **push messages**. The **Icon** should meet the following requirements: - Size: **512x512 pixels**; - Format: **Only PNG,** max. **3 megabytes.**

### Colors & Fields name

1. You can choose the colors for various elements such as the **card background**, **text color**, **stamp background**, **outline color**, **active stamp**, **inactive stamp** and **background under the stamp section**. For this card design we will update the color in the **Card background** field, but you can skip it for now.
2. You can select the type of fields that appear under the stamps background image using the **Field** dropdown and defining the **Fields name** heading. The **Field name** field enables you to input the text that will be displayed on the card within the specified field.
3. In case you want the logo to appear on the **Card issuing form**, enable the **Show logo at card issuing form** toggle button.
4. To show the background color on the card issuing form, enable the **Show background color on card issuing form** toggle button.

After making all the selections, simply click on the **Continue** button. Consequently, you end up in the **Information** section.

## Information

### Description of cards, rewards, and messages.

1. You can use this section to provide important details for the card. You can visualize the impact of each field by looking at the mobile screen preview shown on the right side of the screen.
2. Enter a brief description of the card in the **Card description** field.
3. Use the **How to earn a stamp** to define how a customer would earn a stamp.
4. Input the name of your business in the **Company name** field.
5. Please provide the reward information in the **Reward details** field.
6. Utilize the **Earned stamp message** field to input the message that will be showcased when a customer receives a stamp.
7. Similarly, enter the message that will be shown when a customer earns a reward in the **Earned reward message** field.
8. Specify the number of stamps that will be credited to a customer when issuing a card using **Number of stamps when issuing a card** field.

### Card stamps and multi reward configuration



1. Enter the number of stamps in the Multi Rewards field, separated by commas. In this case, let's select 3, 6, and 9 to unlock multiple rewards based on the number of stamps earned.
2. If you want your customers earned rewards to be manually redeemed, please select **No** for the **Redeem rewards automatically?&#x20;**&#x6F;ption.

### Referral program

1. Choose whether you want to activate the referral program using the Active and Inactive radio buttons under the Referral Program heading.
2. Define when the bonus is issued to a customer from the options available under the **Get bonus at the moment when** heading.
3. Choose how many stamps a customer earns upon sharing their card via the referral program using the **Stamps count for referrer** heading.
4. Similarly, choose the **number of stamps** a new customer earns upon registering via the referral program using the count icons under the **Stamps count for new customer** heading.

### Links setup

1. Choose the desired type of link to include on the card from the **Active links** section by selecting from the **Select type** dropdown. You have multiple options to choose from, including: **URL**, **Phone**, **Email**, and **Address**.
2. Select the **URL** from a dropdown list.
3. Input the website **URL** into the provided **Link** field.
4. Enter the text to appear on the card using the **Text** field.
5. To add the URL link, simply click the **Add link** button. This function saves the current link and creates a new row for another link to be added.
6. Let's also include an Email field on our card. To remove the empty link, click the delete (X) button.
7. Under the **Feedback links** heading, click **Add link** to add your business links for the customer reviews to be recorded.
8. Select Facebook from the dropdown in the **Service** field.
9. Provide the **Link** for giving feedback on Facebook.
10. To proceed, just click on the button labeled **Add** link. Feel free to add as many links as you want in this section.

### Terms of use

1. To add **Terms of use** to the card, just toggle the button next to the heading that says **Terms of use**.
2. Optionally you can provide any specific **Terms of use** to be included on the card by using the **Terms of use** input field.
3. Use the **Link to full terms and conditions** field to provide a link to the complete T\&Cs of your business promotion.

### Card Issuer information

1. Record the **Card issuer details** in the fields for Company name, Email, and Contact number under Issuer Information heading. The information will be displayed on the reverse side of the card.
2. Enter the **Company name** in this field.
3. Leave here your Company **Email&#x20;**&#x61;ddress.
4. Provide your Company **Phone number** here.

### Card saving information and activation

1. Once the details are recorded, click the **Finish** button. This will save this card modifications as draft, and you will see the **Preview** popup is displayed. Here you can Copy the link, scan the QR code, Activate card or close this Preview popup. Click **Close&#x20;**&#x62;utton to continue the guide.
2. To activate the template, you can simply click on the **Activate** button located below the card preview but let's move forward.

## Save & Preview

1. As the **Save & Preview** button is clicked, the **Preview** popup is displayed.
2. From here, you can scan the **QR** code of the card.
3. You can copy the **card's link** for different purposes, like using it in ads or adding it to webpage elements such as buttons or links. Simply click the **Copy link** button.&#x20;
4. After customizing your card, click the **Activate card** button to activate it. Once your card is activated, please note that you will not be able to edit certain card settings. These include the **Card type**, **Expiration date, Issuing form details**, and **Loyalty program terms**. The **Loyalty program terms** are unique to each **Card type**, and certain fields cannot be modified once the card has been activated.

## Tips & Tricks:&#x20;

- **Activation of card.&#x20;**&#x54;o review the fields that will be blocked prior to activating the card, **create a card duplicate** for exploration purposes.
- The **QR code** and **Copy link** will always remain **unchanged** for each card, even if you decide to convert the Coupon card in your promotion to a different **Card type** after the first customer purchase.
